Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

PPPoE not working over wifi. Can connect to the wifi network ,but cannot connect to Internet. PPPoE over ethernet is working.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it has already been brought to the attention of the developers of the software. I have added a link to the upstream bug number 559134 which describes the issue.

PPPoE over Wifi is currently not supported, but support for it is planned in the future, as described in http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/ReleaseProcess.
