Bug Description
Infiniband devices have a long-form HWADDR, as opposed to the 'normal' 6bit HWADDR. Example:
a0:00:02:
When trying to use this HWADDR in a netplan config, netplan errors out expecting a 6bit HWADDR. I have tried truncating the long-form into an expected short form for matching (trying the first 6bits, last 6 bits, combinations) but no match is made, so the device isn't configured.
If I omit the HWADDR altogether, the device can be configured, but at the loss of being able to be very specific about the device in question (and leaving the OS device enumeration to do the naming).
