Bug Description

As I understand there's no way to configure interface for stateless DHCPv6 (IP from RA, DNS etc. from DHCP), a setting achieved in e/n/i with:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet6 auto
  dhcp 1

Hi,

I recently hit the same issue, it turns out you can do this with dhcp6: true. That one option covers all the IPv6 autoconfiguration types.

I'll be trying to get a documentation fix (and ifupdown-migrate fix) in for this.

Regards,
Daniel

PS I put together a test bench for this sort of stuff: https://github.com/daxtens/ipv6-config-demos - there's a working example of this setup in that repository.

Do you need an ifupdown-migrate fix, or is this sufficient to close out this issue?
