Bug Description
I put the netbook remix 9.04 image on a USB stick (once using imagewrite, once using dd, once using cat). Booting always ends in busybox after about a minute. The messages on the sceen at that point are:
Loading, please wait...
[ 3.22...] hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2
I've tried booting the live mode and the install mode (also in safe graphics mode). Always the same problem.
Now the interesting bit: I've used the same stick many months ago to successfully install an earlier version of ubuntu, on the same eee pc 1000H.

I've also played around with boot options like acpi=off, without success.
Furthermore, when I run dmesg in busybox I can't find anything suspicious except the message about USB above and the following:
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds.
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Not that message itself seems suspicious to me, but the fact that it is repeated about 50 times, starting 4.7s after boot begin and ending almost 100s later, with nothing else in between and nothing else following it.
