Bug Description

Hello,

I installed claws-mail version 3.3.1-1ubuntu3 on my Toshiba NB100 with Ubuntu Netbook Remix. The claws-mail application menu is not visible nor accessible (e.g., ALT-F does not display the file menu, etc.)

I'm using a Dell Mini 12 with the ubuntu version that came with this product (which is an Ubuntu 8.04 modified by Dell).

I have the same problem with claws-mail and liferea.

Does anybody know if there is a workarround for this problem? I really need to use claws-mail.
