Bug Description
I changed icons for some Google Chrome desktop apps. The new icons display properly in the Internet pane of UNR, but the Favorites pane and the top panel still display the old icons.

I can't fully reproduce this.
Here's what I did to attempt to reproduce:
1) On a page I wanted standalone, I chose "Create Application
Shortcuts" from the edit menu of Chromium.
2) I chose "Applications Menu" as the location to create the
shortcut.
3) I added the resulting icon to favorites by right-clicking on it and
choosing "Add to Favorites"
4) To change the icon, I edited the resulting desktop file in share/applicati ons
~/.local/
5) I had to log out and log back on for the icon to be updated.
The correct icon was shown both in the Internet pane and in the
Favorites pane. I notice, however that the new icon is not shown in
the panel. I did a test in my regular gnome session and this is also
the case here.
I think that part works this way because you are still just using an
instance of the Chrome browser and it uses the favicon for the visited
web site as its icon, and so it updates its icon at runtime.
Could you give me the steps you follow to reproduce the case where the
Favorites icon is not correct? And, to verify, you are using the
default Ubuntu Netbook Edition session and not the 2D session? Also,
are you on Lucid?
Thanks!
