Bug Description
The Volumes section of the launcher displays things it shouldn't display, like physical LVM volumes. Display logical LVM volumes is okay, since they can reasonably be expected to contain a filesystem and be mountable, whereas physical volumes can't be. Attached is a screenshot.

Not sure how we could differentiate one type from the other, but if nautilus can do it, so can we :)
I'd recommend taking a look at nautilus's code that displays the volume list and trying to do the same in nl-volumes-source.c
