Bug Description

OS: Mint 18
Kernel: 4.8.0-34-generic x86_64
Nemo: 3.0.6

Nemo fails to access SMB shares. It shows all shares on a server. Clicking on a specific share then ask for a password. This always fails, the password dialog keep opening again. Same behavior if I use the hostname or the IP.

Mounting the share on the command line works fine (it requires giving the IP, hostname does not work):
sudo mount -t cifs -o user=floyd42 //1.2.3.4/myshare /media/floyd42/smb_test/

How can I get more details from nemo or the system about the error it encounters internally? It does not print much logs when started from the command line. I sysclog I can see this line:

org.gtk.vfs.Daemon[2747]: Kinit for floyd42 to access cifs/myServer@ failed: Cannot determine realm for host
