Sidepane locations' context menu should have a "paste" entry

Seriously? Did you read the bug? In what way were those steps for reproducing the problem, expected behavior, and encountered behavior, not entirely clear?

1: Specific actions for reproducing the problem:

Click Places.
Click Home Folder.
Right click anything in your home folder - any file or folder.
Click Copy.
On the left, under Places, right click Desktop, or Documents, or Downloads, whatever.
Notice that there is no "Paste" in the dropdown.

2: The behavior I expect, obviously, is a "Paste" option in the dropdown menu of "Places" in nautilus.

3: The behavior I actually encountered is no "Paste" option in the dropdown menu.

Just reproduced on Maverick:

yes, but this bug seems specific to the "places" mode of the sidebar, it doesn't happen in the mode displaying the filesystem, your description mentioning only "location", I can confirm it with your new description which mentions "under places", thanks for the update!

You're right, I used the wrong word. And I'm not familiar enough with nautilus to know there are different sidebar modes. Sorry I was unclear.
