Bug Description
Saved searches are always saved as somename.
Tipically, most files are recognized by their mime-type not by their extension and this is a really good thing but such doesn't happen with saved searches and given the importance of such a feature it really matters that it does. Since the saved search file has a defined format, maybe add a header and create a mime-type for it? Is it possible to do this?

I just tried double-clicking on the file (the icon preview clearly shows it's an XML file) and I was impressed because double-clicking on it brings up a Nautilus window yet Nautilus displays the following message:
"Sorry, couldn't display all the contents of somename".
I guess the half the job is already done (having Nautilus fired up) but still the Saved-Search icon is replaced by a text-file preview and Nautilus doesn't display the contents of the saved search.
