Bug Description
Nautilus works well with remote shares (another computer on LAN), but its Compare extension (with Meld) does not. When the second file is remote, a right-click on it shows the usual drop-down menu but without the lines for "Compare later" and "Compare to".
I assume (and hope) this is a bug, because I see no indication that this otherwise-excellent Compare tool would be limited in this manner, nor would I expect it. But if by design it cannot work remotely, I suggest better up-front information - and suggestions for an alternative solution.
