Bug Description

I use Ubuntu 12.04 64bit with the package emblemize 2.0-0 installed.
I have discovered that the emblemize's window has no horizontal scrollbar. The emblems displayed in the window don't adapt to the window size, so it's important to have the scrollbars, because without the horizontal scrollbar I can't see the emblems to the right.
I can maximize the window, but I don't know if is sufficient to display all the emblems.
I have attached a screenshot to show you the issue.

I am now trying to port emblemize to GTK3 and I have some errors
have you experience in Gtk3?

I'm afraid I can't help you. I have never developed with GTK, nor in QT.

Hello,

I have just updated now, and I have seen that now the emblems don't adapt to the window size, and once again the horizontal scroll-bar is missing. The emblems remains stick in a five columns list.
I have uploaded for you a screenshot to show what I mean (see Emblemizer_GTK3.png)

Yes, I'm on 3.3-0~6.
I have tried with Unity 3D and with Unity 2D, but I still have this issue.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 in a Virtualbox, perhaps this can have to do with my problem (a graphical issue)?

Unfortunately no error messages in the terminal.

I have another Virtualbox with Ubuntu 11.10 installed, and I have tried emblemize here. In this case the emblems adapts to the window size, but I still don't have the horizontal scroll-bar.

This is strange and I tend to believe that this is an issue related to Virtualbox instead of GTK3.

actually i found out that making icons horizontal is a bad usabilty point
so now all icons should appear fine without need to have horizontal
scrollbars
and only use one scrolling is usable and easier for end user
actually the old behavior there was one scrollbar but with hidden icons
now all icons appear and you can check your self
so it's clear now the issue is GTK not emblemizer .. and we will wait
the final release of
precise
and please can you report bug to ubuntu GTK ?? so they fix it
sure it will affect a lot of applications
thank you
