im guessing it should have this: command=/usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movie/tmdb.py -t

Is this a bug or did I screw up something?

This doesn't seem to be an issue on my 12.04 frontend. Can you verify the settings are correct in

Setup > Artwork and Data Sources

yep, opening and saving "Setup > Artwork and Data Sources" seems to have fixed it.
