Bug Description

mythweb streaming fails with mythv 0.24.1. I have tried with VLC 1.11 version and WMP in WIn7 64-bit. These used to work but not anymore. After couple last updates, mythweb streaming stopped to work.

I'm marking this as incomplete. The errors in the log file point to authentication issues. Did you set a password on mythweb?

Hi! I have set password in Mythbuntu Control Center and it should be correct place to do it... Same issue still exists in mythtv 0.24.2. I cannot stream via mythweb my recordings at all in any PC and any player..

That is kinda my point. If you set a password for mythweb, you will have to use that user/pass combination when using a streaming player. Have you tested removing the password on mythweb?

VLC and Windows Media Player ask username and password and video frame appears to these players, but video does not start, first frame picture stays to player and that's it.

I tested earlier without password, same result.

Switching back to new. I cannot confirm this as I am on 0.25

Hi Thomas,

You have mythtv 0.25, does your tv recording streaming work via mythweb in your system?

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream believes this to be fixed in the latest version. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions.
