found out that it does not depend on the grafics card or driver: I have changed from amd to nvidia and the bug is persistent. Also switching from openGL to Qt doesnt change anything

Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve MythTV, not only by opening this ticket, but also forwarding the bug upstream. I copied your log file and traces upstream as well so that the developers there can continue looking at it.

The upstream ticket got closed as "works for me", can you reproduce it on fixes/0.25 or master?
From the upstream ticket:

Changed 3 months ago by beirdo

Status changed from infoneeded_new to closed
Resolution set to Works for me

I can not reproduce this problem in master. As we are rapidly moving into a release cycle, I'm not planning on spending too much time trying to backtrack and fix 0.24-only bugs.

Can you reproduce in master? If so, please reopen.

This was also tested in recent 0.24-fixes, and was not reproducible there either

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions.
