Bug Description
Trying to boot mythbuntu 10.04 without monitor connected does not work. I never get a ping reply. When I connect my monitor after booting, there is no signal being sent to it. If I leave my monitor connected while booting, everything boots normally and I can remove my monitor and it continues to work properly.
Fedora 12 had same issue, I was able to aleviate this by entering vga=xxx in the kernel parameters. However, with grub2 I am unable to see how to do this. I did find this entry in /boot/grub/

Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve Ubuntu by opening this ticket. I'm forwarding this to what I believe to be the correct bug project on launchpad, although it is possible that someone else may come along and redirect it further.
