Bug Description
Hardware: Samsung NC10, external LG LU-10 DVD R/W
Mythbuntu 9.04 alpha 6.1 Live CD fails to detect the NIC in this netbook, so that "Test Connection" after choosing the frontend-only configuration fails to find the Master Backend. The NIC status lights are not lit at all.
Using Mythbuntu 8.10 main Live CD, the NIC is detected (lights come on green) and the backend connects successfully.

The frontend only install will also fail if a wifi connection is used. The user should not be forced to establish a connection to the backed during the install process.
