Bug Description

Wubi fails to connect to the Mythbuntu servers when trying to download the iso. The installer tries to connect the requisite number of times (3, I believe) then gives up and exits. This has also been reported here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=976126&highlight=mythbuntu .

Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu!

The suggestion from the forum thread was that "probably some files are missing on the server like MD5SUMS-metalink". Does anyone know if that has been resolved since 8.10?

I'm pretty confident that hasn't been resolved yet, I'd keep this open for
now.

Setting to Low since it is relatively easy to work around: install Ubuntu first, then add mythtv

We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions.
