Bug Description
Yesterday my broadcast had some issues. The channel my MythTV opens to automatically was not sending any data but the channel locked and this situation caused MythTV to "Error was encountered while displaying video".
Checking the logfiles, it reported that unable to read recording file. However trying manually I was able to read and write files to the defined directory with all possible users (root, mythtv, personal account).
The recording file was 0bytes at size because there was no stream from broadcast and when MythTV tried to playback the 0b file, it crashed back to the main menu. I was unable to change channel out from this one channel causing the problem.

Marking incomplete as this release isn't supported anymore. Can anyone confirm that this issue is still present on a supported Mythbuntu/MythTV release?
