The mythbuntu-desktop package still requires upstart and upstart-bin. Thus it cannot be removed from the system if you have the ythbuntu package installed, even though bringing up mythtv with upstart doesn't work. 15.04 now requires systemd. Can you remove this dependency? |
Despite the move to systemd, 15.04 is getting upstart installed due to xfce4-indicator-plugin (and possibly others) directly depending on upstart-bin (which is a transitional package that depends on upstart) |
