We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?

Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions.

This bug affects me. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 with 2:0.27.0+fixes.20140324.8ee257c-0ubuntu3. This seems to be the latest version available in the Ubuntu repositories.

I seem to get reports of these crashes whenever I reboot. I don't think that the crashes are related to the reboot -- I think that apport only reports it then. For example, I just got an apport window (March 11) even though the crash seems to have happened on March 3.

@Thomas: if there is a fix, it isn't in the Ubuntu repos.
