Bug Description

The location of the driver for the 6800 GS has been 404'd, so when you try to load Mythbuntu 7.10, you have to start in Safe Graphics Mode on the live CD.
I installed via SGM just fine except for the fact that the drivers for nvidia couldn't download (location is 404'd), but install let me continue.

I rebooted after installing, and got X11 throwing errors because it couldn't find the drivers for the card.

I had to go into terminal (CTRL+ALT+F1).

Then, I did:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx

After installing those drivers, just reboot, and you'll be fine.

I'm a bit confused here. What do you mean by SGM?

It's odd that the internet repository is still being favored over the on-cd repository. That's most likely the problem at hand.

SGM meaning 'Safe Graphics Mode'.
At the time, I had not connected the box to the internet; I did the searching on another computer.
