Bug Description

    150 sub get_vars_from_server() {
    151 if ($opt{debug}) { print "using SHOW commands on the live database\n"; }
    152 push (@mysqlvarlist,`mysql $mysqllogin -Bse "SHOW /*!50000 GLOBAL */ VARIABLES;"`);
    153 push (@mysqlvarlist,`mysql $mysqllogin -Bse "SHOW /*!50000 GLOBAL */ STATUS;"`);
    154 }

should be:

    150 sub get_vars_from_server() {
    151 if ($opt{debug}) { print "using SHOW commands on the live database\n"; }
    152 push (@mysqlvarlist,`mysql $mysqllogin -Bse "SHOW /*!40003 GLOBAL */ VARIABLES;"`);

    154 }
