MMM 1 had an easy option for custom checkers

in MMM2, it looks liek you need to append to /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/MMM/Monitor/Checker.pm for custom checkers. It would be nice if the checker code would either excute the built-in checkers an then look for additonal checks in files in a specific folder. Optionally the built-in checkers would also be files in that folder.

Does MMM 1 care about custom checkers? You can create them, but they'll be ignored I think!?

We created one, and I'm pretty sure it worked? We created one for proper
backlog checking, as there is this weird race conditions whereby evrything
looks ok, but the slave just stops executing commands from teh master
without erroring out.
