Bug Description
Original bug report:
I am using MyMote on an iPad bolted to the wall to scroll thru and select short HD videos of interviews with local WWII veterans in a small theater in our local Museum. It works great with simple left and right arrows surrounding a Select button. But MyMote has an internal timer that shuts it down around the 10 minute mark returning the iPad to its desktop. This then allows museum goers to play with the desk top and goof everything up.
After much studying I read where I could stop this timer by turning on the iPad's Airplane Mode. This worked until a breaker flipped and my room at the museum was without power for 2 days. When I turned everything back on everything worked, but I could never defeat the MyMote timer again.

Hi Joe,
An app closing itself is not possible under normal conditions. The only way an App can close back to the desktop is if it crashes. My guess is that you are hitting a crash somehow.
When apps crash, reports are sent to Apple so the developers can fix problems. There are currently no crash reports against MyMote, so I don't have any data to go off of. I don't have the ability to investigate further right now, but I will comment more soon.
Please provide some more information like the device (iPad 1 or 2?), the version of MyMote (just to verify it's up to date), and the version of iOS you are running. If you can, please follow the instructions for sending crash reports to developers as documented here:
http:// developer. apple.com/ library/ ios/#documentat ion/Xcode/ Conceptual/ iphone_ development/ 145-Distributin g_Applications/ distributing_ applications. html
Please attach any crash logs to this bug (zip them up if it's a bunch).
Thanks!
