Bug Description
It seems that the new version of mylvmbackup is adding it's own
tar argument of 'v' so instead of just calling 'tar' it's calling 'tar v'.
Since I had my own tar arguments that were preceded by a dash
something like tarargs=-cvf it made the command into 'tar v-cvf'
which breaks the tar command.

Thanks for the report. Indeed, this is a "gotcha" - the "v" option is added when "--quiet" is not provided. In your case, simply dropping the dash from the argument list should be sufficient. I'll take a look if this can be fixed or improved.
