Please upload releases to pypi so they can be installed via pip or easy_install.

This is definitely something we would do, but I'd like to wait with this a few more versions, or until it is GA.

Its not clear to me what the value of waiting is, versus release early and often..

There are facilities (classifiers) for marking software as alpha or beta in pypi. It creates the opportunity for easier testing and usage by a much wider audience.

Moreover its unclear what remains for new versions or GA, there are no outstanding functionality bugs, and no roadmap/todo in the source.
