Weather App causes logout to crash

my-weather-indicator (0.9.5-0extras20-04-09) on a new HP Envy x360 with AMD Ryzen 4000 Series/5 causes logout (or X11 Windows) to crash, i.e. I get a blank screen and cannot re-login. If I do not run my-weather-indicator everything works as it should. I am running my-weather-indicator on a desktop Asus Intel i5 (0.9.4-0extras19.10.09) without a problem.

If you need more information I'll do what I can to provide it.

While I was able to repeat the problem with the weather app it apparently isn't the root of the problem, something else is now impacting logout.
