Geolocation fails with IPv6

If the default path to the Internet is over IPv6, the local weather reported is for an undefined location. The indicator applet should restrict itself to IPv4 connectivity only.

How is it Fix Released when the new version doesn't even start? See the open bugs that say "stopped working."
