Bug Description
I just installed this on a fresh install of KDE Mint 14 x64 which is based on Ubuntu 12.10. It doesn't show up anywhere because there is no "accessories" in the KDE menu. I can only assume some other things must be in the wrong place as well, because the widget itself stayed black with no icons displayed or anything to be seen.
All I noted it do was determine my location properly, and I could see text weather conditions by right clicking the icon in the system tray.
The only way I was able to get it to even start was by doing a search for its files, as a terminal start failed, and upon conducting a search I noted the autostart file which I managed to activate the configuration window with. I saw no sign of the neat HTC style widget that I saw on the Webupd8 site.
