No Weather Data for Hannover, Germany, from Yahoo

A few days ago, my-weather-indicator looses the ability to download weather data from Yahoo for Hannover, Germany.

The search feature recognizes the city as "Hanover", but this does not solve the issue. No weather is downloaded.

On yahoo.com I find data for "Hannover Bismarckstraße Station", http://weather.yahoo.com/germany/lower-saxony/hannover-bismarckstrasse-station-22215556/, which would be okay to use, but I cannot make my-weather-indicator find that station, too.

Only OpenWeatherMap provides data for Hannover, but my second town (a small town nearby) is not provided by that service.

What version of Ubuntu do you have installed?

That's 12.10.

The version you have installed is very old, please use this PPA:

ppa:atareao/atareao

and install the last version. I think this must solve the problem.

Yeah, that works, thanks for the hint.

PPAs are a very nice feature, but IMHO they are supposed to provide new features and are not a replacement for bugfix releases to officially available packages. So it would by nice to get at least bugfixes to official releases for the life time of that release (at least the 6 months of 12.10).
