Thank you for your bug report, could you get a 'journalctl -b 0' log when you hit the issue and add the log to the report?

Could you also check if the update on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gjs/1.67.2-2ubuntu2/+build/21444235 help with the issue?

Changed in gnome-shell (Ubuntu):

Thanks for the bug report.

Please start by uninstalling these extensions and then reboot:

  'animation-tweaks@Selenium-H',
  '<email address hidden>'

We need to check that first because so many bugs are caused by extensions.

If the problem continues to happen after that then please:

1. Reproduce the freeze again.

2. Reboot.

3. Run this command:

   journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt

4. Attach the resulting text file here.

Hello Daniel,

I uninstalled the first extension, the second one wasn't installed. Find
attached the requested file.

Please do:

cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell
rm -rf extensions

to be sure any local extensions are gone. And then reboot.

Maybe these messages are more relevant:

Sorry for the confusion, but there seem to be multiple bugs happening and not all of them are relevant to the problem this bug is about.

Starting it on Xorg seemed to solve the issue.
