Screen lock after some minutes while playing vidoes from mpv player.

I installed mpv player from APT repository.
It was working fine but from last week I have been experiencing this issue.
The issue is: Screen gets locked while watching video.

Normally, this should not have happened. But something has gone wrong.
Video continue to play in background but to watch it I need to unlock the screen. I was using wayland when this problem started..

Something is triggering to lock the screen while playing any movies/videos, which is very weird.
Let me know if you need more output to resolve this issue.

If you are using the standard Xorg session then this shouldn't happen at all.

If you are using a Wayland session then it's a known issue. Though I can't seem to find the previous bug report right now.

Does the problem really happen in Xorg sessions or were you using Wayland at the time?

This sounds like https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/4752 but we already have the fix for that.

Please report the issue to the developers at:

  https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues

and then tell us the new issue ID.

Probably could be resolved via a patch but Ubuntu won't be doing that..

I don't want to try "probably not will be maintained" personl project PPA as it says, "Purely for testing, will probably not maintain. Only lightly tested for unintended consequences..".

But hope there will a fix from big players instead.
