Shuffle causes the app to freeze

If i open the app in album view and tap on a song it works as expected. If i go to track view, it shows me my tracks and a button saying tap to shuffle music. Tapping this causes the playback to break.nothing plays after this. All songs will fail to load and the progress bar says 00:00/00:00 but can still slide. Music will not play from the app, but pressing play on a track in the scope will work fine.
