Bug Description

It would be nice if the database information from Rhythmbox could be imported and or synchronised, including playlists, play count and rating. I remember that this worked really nice with itunes and ipod sychronisation. Would be cool to have similar features.

Not just database information, but the whole lot... For example, if I "rip" a CD to my computer (well, NAS server) using Rhythmbox, then Rhythmbox should "synchronize" this with my Bq Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition when I connect it to my computer with Rhythmbox open.

Of course, the million-dollar question is, how is this going to work in the future?

My understanding is that the long-term goal is for Ubuntu "Touch" and Ubuntu to be one project, so presumably "Music" will be available on both one's computer AND on one's mobile device...

So should the Development Team spend time trying to get Rhythmbox synchronizing, or just wait until "Music" is implemented on computers?
