Bug Description

I tried to play an internet radio stream on my BQ but it does not work.

What does work:
Clicking on a *.m3u file.
Choosing Music to open file

What does not work:
I experienced two different behaviors:
case a) I got the file imported, but it doesn't play anything
case b) It gets stuck within the process "Imported file not found" with Options "Wait" "Cancel" -> waiting does not help.

_____________
*.pls files are not even recognized by music app

Hi Felix, thanks for taking the time to file this bug report and for making Ubuntu better! The service that tells the app which files it can play (mediascanner2) is supposed to be skipping all playlist files, including m3u files (as it already skips pls files). Currently, you should not expect playlist files or internet streams to play within the app. Playing from a streaming source may be something that gets added in the future, but there are currently no plans to do so at the moment.

Thank you Victor,
so its not a bug. Ok. But basically this means it is currently not possible to listen to an internet stream (radio) and use the phone at the same time, since other applications stop playing when pushed to the background. So the feature is definitely on my wishlist.
