Bug Description

Maybe related to bug 1239432

Start playing a song in Music app
Start playing a video
Expected:- Music pauses while video plays
Actual:- Music can still be heard while video plays.

This should be fixed by the Media Hub that will be landing shortly. This probably is a dup of lp:1239432, but this supplemental information is good to have to verify the fix later.

This can also be reproduced by playing a song in the Music app, then navigating to the Music scope and previewing a song in the Dash.

Yes the Media Hub should fix this scenario, although I'm not quite sure how you get into this. Doesn't the music from the music-app stop playback when the music-app isn't in the foreground anymore? Can you explain exactly what you're doing here?

No. Music continues to play in the background, and has done for some time. However Music app is a special case. Audio in (for example) the browser or in other music related apps in the store all stop playing when not-foreground.
