Music stops playing when phone suspends

Steps:
1. Drag mp3s for Pink Floyd's album Meddle onto your phone
2. Plug in headphones
3. Open music player, start playing the first song, One of these Days
4. Be momentarily confused because the track starts off very quietly, because, you know, it's Pink Floyd
5. When psychedelic bass line starts pumping, get into it and start grooving

Result:
Phone suspends after one minute, cutting off music, and causing soul crushing loss of groove

Expected:
You can listen to an album without it getting cut off

Same problem with mediaplayer-app. I would expect to listen to non-music files opened through the filemanager with mediaplayer-app, such as podcasts.

Can you explain the conditions under which you have seen this return? I'm running trusty on an upgrade from a flashed r5 to r10 and can not reproduce. What build are you running? Does music suspend both when pressing the power button and when the screen naturally shuts off?

Ok, actually I have 2 icons to launch music on my upgraded system. The one that produces the following in "ps -ef" output suspends:

phablet 5623 1834 21 20:00 ? 00:00:28 /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5/bin/qmlscene /usr/share/music-app/music-app.qml --file=

The one that produces the following output does NOT suspend and works as intended:

phablet 5920 1834 71 20:02 ? 00:00:11 /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/qt5/bin/qmlscene music-app.qml --file= -I ./plugins

Is the app supposed to be installed into /usr/share/<app name>? I assumed either /usr/share/click/preinstalled/ or in /opt.
