Bug Description

I just enabled masakari and murano in /etc/kolla/globals.yml
but somehow it wont appear in the Horizon.

At first I thought there's problem in Horizon container, but I try to recompile the image still the same.
Is it meant to happen like this or is this a bug?

Not sure here about Murano but Masakari's works.

Do you use the source type of images?

Did Masakari get properly registered in the catalog?

Are you sure enable_horizon_masakari is not set elsewhere to false?

Changed in masakari:
status: New → Invalid
Changed in kolla-ansible:
status: New → Incomplete
Changed in murano:
status: New → Invalid

Hi,

Yes I use source as my type of image (masakari), but still not appear in
horizon. I make default on horizon masakari UI to default option.

Thanks

I'm sorry, how to make sure for the catalog?
I can't find anything in masakari documentation for this keyword "catalog".

Thanks

I mean the Keystone service catalog. You can access it from the command line (openstack catalog list) or from Horizon (API Access).

One thing you might have forgot to do (unlikely but still I know lots of people that slipped on that) is to logout and log back into the Horizon as that will ensure it reloads its catalog (for that session).

Kolla globals (attachment) already enable (through enable_masakari)

Any hints where I could enable the masakari dashboard in Horizon?

Thanks

It should have been enabled already. You could check the horizon container logs whether it triggers the masakari dashboard components. You should see ENABLE=yes near them.
