Bug Description

On Ubuntu a file is created if a system reboot is needed to fully apply updates:
/var/run/reboot-required
Also a file seems to contain the packages that caused this:
/var/run/reboot-required.pkgs

MultiADM should show this information to the user.

On Ubuntu 12.10 this problem is still present.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
- run an update from terminal with apt
- when a reboot is required, the following files are created:
/var/run/reboot-required
/var/run/reboot-required.pkgs

Expected behavior:
1. the cog icon in the upper-right corner becomes red
2. the menu entry "Restart..." gets changed to "Restart required"

What happens instead: nothing
