Bug Description
In the snapstore projects, sepcifically for scasnap, we have had a few cases where the mojo CI run starts failing saying it can't complete a given Makefile rule, like "collectstatic".
We have found that this is caused by outdated files in the code tree. This could be removed style files where the an automatically generated combined CSS is not removed, or pyc files for removed py files.
Example of a run: https:/
Filed RT #102991 for cleaning up the folder.

I'm not sure this is really a mojo bug. Does your project not have a "make clean" target that could be run to prevent the problem? We don't always want to remove the workspace directory between runs as it would slow down each run, so I'd suggest it's something the spec should handle itself.
