status bar buttons lose background on theme change

Bug Description

Status bar buttons (network applet, for example) have background images that are obtained from the curent theme directory.

When the curret gtk theme changes (via gconf > xsettings, these buttons lose their existing background images and the background become white.

The background images need to be redrawn using images derived from the new theme.

(This may be a duplicate of 225235, but I am not sure, so I am entering it to be certain it is identified and addressed. See that bug for more details on changing the theme dynamically at run time.)

Going forward, please add a tag of 'intel' to bugs escalated to moblin or needing Intel help. I use that tag to indentify issues on this project that need follow up in other parts of Intel. I don't have a good way to search for bugs posted to the moblin launchpad. Thanks.

We try and add the tag "intel" to every bug, however since it's a manual process, it's easy for someone to miss. FYI, the bug was orginally entered against the Moblin UI framework project. Ideally, every bug entered against moblin should automatically have an "intel" tag added, but I don't think that'll happen anytime soon.

As for escalation, this bug was discussed at this week's Canonical / Intel bug triage conference call for the Acton project ( every Thurs 1PM ). I asked for an update an estimated fix date...

Craig, perhaps you should sit on in these calls?

Changes made:
hildon-desktop (main change from Horace): Not hard-coded theme. Will listen for changes and auto-update marquee and statusbar icons
moblin-applet: Sets default gtk_theme = "mobilebasic" and icon_theme="gnome" These were previously set to non-existent "Human" theme.
mobilebasic theme: Moved maemo_af_desktop contents into gtkrc. Theme only knows about gtkrc.
 ume-config-common: Remove hard-coding of GTK2_RC_FILES=mobilebasic theme
midbrowser changes: Nothing, but with above changes, the icons are now correctly pulled from "gnome" icon set and look much cleaner (and also bluer). Previously they were 24pixel icons that were getting stretched. They are now true 48pixel icons.
