Bug Description

I'm seeing issues on several sites where Flash objects don't render appropriately with regard to the z-axis. This presents a problem when dynamic elements, such as drop down menus overlap with the flash objects. The menu is being rendered behind the flash object which makes the menu unusable. The top menu on 'Sports Illustrated' ( http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/ ) is an excellent example of this (This issue happens on Ubuntu/Firefox/Flash9.0r124 as well, but it doesn't happen with WinXP/Firefox/Flash9.0r124).

This appears to be related to:

Another example (top menu):

Per instructions at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+bug/246450/comments/33 y moved to Flash plugin 10 (64 bit in my case) and it seem to be working fine now (no more menus behind flash objects).
