Bug Description

Summary:
There are no onscreen indicators for NumLock, Caps Lock, or FnLock. This causes difficulty when typing since you don't have any visual feedback for the typing mode you are currently in.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Hit NumLock button on keyboard
2) Hit Caps Lock button on keyboard
3) Hit Fn key

Expected result:
There is a visual indicator on the screen that displays the keyboard lock you have enabled.

Actual result:
No indicators exist for keyboard modes

This is new feature request, seems not important for menlow, QA suggest fix-later.

Yea I can see the usefulness of this I suppose. Usually there's an LED on the device itself for it but we could add, say a status bar applet that shows a little icon with num/scroll/caps.

not a meta-gnome2 issue, the package doesn't have any code to manage this.
