Bug Description

Description:
--------------
Cannot launch Email with default keyboard shortcut.

Reproduced steps:
--------------
1. Launch Email client by default shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+E".
2. Launch buttons applet and change Email shortcut to "Ctrl+Alt+M".
3. Launch buttons applet and change Email shortcut back to "Ctrl+Alt+E".

Current result:
--------------
In step1, cannot launch Email by default shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+E", mouse always show a clock.
In step2, can launch Email correctly by shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+M". It's right.
In step3, cannot launch Email by default shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+E", mouse always show a clock.

Expected result:
--------------
In step1&3, Email should be launched by default shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+E".

The problem I think is with the alt being a toggle rather than a control key on the samsung. I changed all the default shortcuts to use ctrl+shift+char now and they all seem to work great. Fixed in 0.32.

Please see my first comment, the alt key on the samsung is just a toggle, so I can't even get ctrl-alt-anything to actually set as a shortcut on the samsung. It always comes out as ctrl-altr (control plus right alt). This is a peculiarity of the samsung. I'll try it on the crown beach to see what happens.

I tried installing x11vnc via "apt-get install x11vnc", then running x11vnc from the command line, then opening a VNC connection to the samsung to control its desktop. Then I set the mail shortcut to ctrl-alt-e, clicked ok, and then tried ctrl-alt-e and it opened email with no issues. I think that proves it's just a samsung on-device keyboard issue rather than something in software.

I changed to "won't fix" because it's something we can't fix in software. Let me know if you agree.

Todd, the issue not only happened on Q1, but also on CB. I connect real keyboard and press "Ctrl+Alt+E", it cannot launch email.
But if you change shortcut to "Shift+Alt+E", it works well. So I think the bug has no relationship with key "alt".
Could you have a try on CB?

This doesn't seem medium any more since the default shorcut is no longer ctrl-alt-e
