Mixxx doesn't open on XP SP3

Hello guys. I have an Oki laptop, with Windows XP SP3, and an Intel Pentium Core T2330 processor (1,6 GHz), and 1.8 gigas of RAM. Well, first of all, I wanna say that the laptop works great with other software, like Virtual DJ 5. When I click on the mixxx' icon, the process loads in RAM, until it gets 64 megas of it. However, the app doesn't show up. After 20 seconds (more or less) the process suddenly shut down and disapper form the memory. In any moment the program has shown up. I'm using the 1.10.1 version of Mixxx. Thanks for reading.

Hello RJ Ryan. I'm using the 1.10.1 version of Mixxx. I promise I'll use the lastest beta as soon as posible and I'll post the results.

Hello guys. In the 1.11.0 beta2 pre release it still doesn't open. It loads into the memory until it gets 48 mb, and after a while, the process crashes, all the time without turning up. Nonetheless, I had installed the 1.10.1 version in another computer, with XP SP2, and it works flawlessly, so perphaps the problem is my OS or something like that.

Maybe it is the same issue like in Bug #1008999.

Can you try to manual edit the mixxx.cfg in C:\Users\%USER%\Application Data\Mixxx\
[Waveform] WaveformType from 6 to 2 (Software filtered) or 0 (empty)

In the original Bug Mixxx GUI is not displayed at all so this might be a different issue, but you can give it a try.

It is also helpful if you can provide the mixxx.log file.
