Bug: Settings> Microphone Input: When selecting a microphone

Mixxx hangs himself, when I select a microphone from input.

System:
Ubuntu 11.10 x64
Mixxx 1.10.0 x64

Sound:
Sound API: ALSA
Sample Rate: 48k

Cards/Chips
Conexant CX8801: CX88 Digital [DVB-S Card] (work)
HDA NVidia: VT1708S Analog [Chip] (work)
SB Live [PCI Card] (work)
Terratec Aureon 5.1 MK II: USB Audio [USB Device] (doesn't work)

When I select »Terratec Aureon 5.1 MK II: USB Audio« or »Default« Mixxx hangs himself, I can't use this input.

same here, was trying the input, all worked with laptop internal mic until I got to pulse. hit ok now when I try to change it, it hangs

I have the same problem with the external soundcard Aureon 5,1. I have tried differet versions, as headphones first then also master, it gives failer and mixxx does not play anything at all.
