Bug Description

I'd like to have an entry under "library" saying "remove items with invalid paths" to remove obsolete items.
A deletion of the DB and a full rescan takes way to long...

I'm on Mixxx 1.10.0 Beta x64 on Win7

If the Missing Tracks section weren't broken, you could go there and select all -> Remove. We should fix Missing Tracks to actually show the missing tracks, but I agree this might be a useful additional feature.

I cannot reproduce this for the current 1.10.1-alpha r3070 and 1.11.0-alpha r3002 on ubuntu oneiric 32bit in general.
It this still an issue?

There is still an issue with "Missings songs in non ASCII folders" Bug #969872.

Where to download the nightly builds? Sourceforge is outdated.
In Mixxx 1.10 x64 on Win7 my missing songs section is empty. And as I said, full rescan is not an option. So this is still an issue (at least in the stable branch).

I installed Version 1.11.0 alpha, rescanned the lib. Moved some folders out of it, restartet Mixxx, but still nothing in the missing songs section. What do I do wrong? When is Mixxx supposed to check for missing files?

toomuch -- it only checks on a library rescan. We used to rescan on startup
by default but now its off by default. If you re-scan you should see those
tracks in the Missing section.

I think I added this in my library feature branch. When ever mixxx encounters a track that it can't find it will be moved to the missing section. Detecting all tracks with invalid paths before hand will still require a rescan though.
