Able to setup the a Multiband Compressor

It could cool to be able to enable/disable the a multiband compressor and also to setup the parameters.

I really like when the sound is slight compressed and when the high frequencies are compressed.

This could personalise the sound of Mixxx.

I hope my whishlist request is clear.

This is something I'm interested in and I know exists in other DJ programs. I'm not sure I have the know-how required but I'm grabbing it to keep it in my thoughts (so if you can implement, feel free to grab it from me).

I can unfortunately not code anything :( but i really notices that multiband compression gives a better sound.

It also makes transitions more smouth.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't very clear. I was writing to everyone who gets
these emails, including the rest of the dev team. I said that in case
one of them were interested in working on it, or someone else
subscribed to our bugmail.

I would like to see this as well, it would be an extremely helpful feature to have and albeit not critical, I think that if this was implemented, it would bring Mixxx a big step closer to other commercial DJ software.

This might also help resolve some distortion problems while streaming to Ustream.

I meant use the signal as its own key signal in the sidechain compressor.

hm interesting, yeah that might work. It could be done with a wrapper class.
