Bug Description
On a slow machine (Atom N270), I've found Mixxx 1.9 will skip when you load a song on the other deck. Is it possible the thread loading a fresh track from disk is running at the same priority as the thread(s) responsible for playback? It might explain the result with CPU and/or IO starvation.
During my attempts to solve the problem, I also found Mixxx isn't using a realtime priority, even if it's permitted to by limits.conf. (If there's a configuration option I need to set in Mixxx, please accept my apologies.)
I also found this problem is more pronounced and more reliably reproduced with hyperthreading disabling. (The 'hiccup skip' is replaced with a short slience.)
